Barbara Locke is a bi-lingual, AV rated attorney who brings over 20 years of large firm litigation experience to bear in mediating and arbitrating cases of all sizes and complexity, in both English and Spanish.

Ms. Locke is committed to assisting attorneys and their clients in reaching workable solutions to their problems. Over the course of her career as an attorney and community leader, Ms. Locke has developed the listening and persuasion skills that are essential to a successful mediation. Her diverse litigation background and federal clerkship experience provide Ms. Locke with a practical perspective as to the costs and risks involved with pursuing claims through the judicial system.

Born in Miami, Ms. Locke moved to Costa Rica as a teenager, where she graduated from High School and the University of Costa Rica. After returning to Florida, Ms. Locke enrolled in the University of Miami School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and serving as an Editor of the Law Review and member of the Order of the Coif.

Committed to community involvement, Ms. Locke has held leadership positions in several civic and charitable organizations, including the Education Fund of Miami-Dade County, Autism Speaks, the United Way, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Miami School of Business. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her legal and community-based activities.
